Position: Senior Website Specialist
Location: Mansfield Branch – Texas Trust Credit Union
Full Time: Yes
Primary Responsibilities: The Website Specialist is directly responsible for consistent engagement of users on the internal and external websites and eCommerce marketing messages for Texas Trust Credit Union and its affiliates. This person will be responsible for primarily back-end design and maintenance of the corporate web site and landing pages, as well as electronic marketing materials, promotional offers, and interactive design projects. Primary emphasis will be ongoing development of the corporate web and mobile presence. This individual is responsible for working as an integral part of the Credit Union’s marketing team, specifically in the areas of website engagement and e-marketing specifically the following:

  • Ensure that the website(s) meet the business needs and provide a seamless user experience;
  • Serve as lead person, if necessary, in selecting and working alongside a web development firm to design, build, test and manage a state of the art website that is consistent with the Texas Trust branding and marketing initiatives;
  • Incorporate interactivity to promote user engagement with the use of third party tools and limited in house development;
  • Implement and report on SEO  status and techniques used to enhance online brand presence that will increase market share;
  • Manage all eCommerce marketing messaging to reach targeted markets and report on effectiveness. This would include but not limited to: home banking design and messaging, bill pay design and messaging, mobile banking messages, text messaging, and all other online/mobile  third party marketing opportunities;
  • Collaborate with IT with any new technology integration into the website and eCommerce marketing systems;
  • Manage third party vendor relationship with all web and eCommerce providers regarding marketing;
  • Research and recommend new ways to build Texas Trust online presence;
  • Ensure the TXTCU website(s) are kept current, accurate and in compliance with applicable rules and regulations;
  • Use analytic tool to assist in improving usability and to enhance end user experience;
  • Write and refresh web copy to promote competitive advantage, campaigns strategic or compliance update;
  • Develop or recommend existing tools to enhance the user’s experience on website and mobile technology;
  • Refresh the look of the website on a regular basis, ensuring the appropriate marketing messages are presented utilizing graphics consistent with current campaigns in a manner that is compelling, entertaining and interactive;
  • Provide marketing program support to Brand Manger, including marketing production schedules, required lead times, while providing organized status updates to the entire department;
  • Recommend the necessary tools and outlets to generate additional interest, exposure and involvement to external and internal audiences;
  • Develop/write, editing, proofreading, and publishing content (text and media objects) for the organization’s web presence (web sites, intranet and social sites, etc.);
  • Ensure site links are functional and media is displayed correctly across multiple channels;
  • Evaluate and measure the effectiveness of all website and third party advertising;
  • Responsible for recommending needed software upgrades and needed software to Brand Manager;
  • Responsible for the internal website, the product tool, including the marketing internal campaign pages;
  • Work closely with IT on functionality enhancements to the Credit Union’s Website(s) and promotional programming (i.e. coupons, referral programs, campaign tracking);
  • Work closely with the Inbound Marketing Specialist to incorporate eMarketing and social network strategies that need to be built into the modules within the website(s);
  • Assist in the tracking of website/microsites/purls activities including campaigns, webcasts, events, and ESN activities;
  • Continue to develop product knowledge and understanding of competitive advantages within market;
  • Ensure the website maintains the Credit Union’s brand standards with direction from the Brand Manager;
  • Assist the sales team when needed at events, onsite visits and festivals this includes planning, coordinating, and working the event;
  • Take lead in internal campaigns for specific events, programs or activities sponsored by the entire credit union; Perform any and all other duties as may be required or needed from time to time.

Desired Job Experience: This position requires a dynamic and motivated self starter who is capable of working both independently and with a team. Position requires strong ability to complete multiple cross functional projects while maintaining the general requirements of the position in a fast pace environment. Candidate must have experience using standard graphic/web tools such as Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash FireWorks, CCS, Action Script 2.0 or above, Macromedia, etc. Must have experience using standard marketing concepts, practices, and procedures; has a strong understanding of online and mobile marketing; is extremely creative; ability to learn new software quickly. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required. Financial Institution experience is a plus.

Other Qualifications: An employee of honesty and integrity, who will be required to work odd hours from time to time. Someone who displays excellent problem solving skills as well as being a self-starter who can accomplish tasks with minimal supervision and maintain a high degree of concentration. Good communication skills and attendance are utmost considerations for this position.

Position: Brand Coordinator
Location: Mansfield Branch – Texas Trust Credit Union

Primary Responsibilities: The Brand Coordinator is the brand ambassador for the all products and services. The role facilitates campaigns, product improvement, and new product development that are aligned with strategic initiatives utilizing inbound and outbound marketing techniques to maximize marketing investment and increase market share. Additionally, the Brand Coordinator participates in all community involvement strategies and actively participates in the overall strategic vision of the credit union.

  • Assigned to specific products, act as a product proponent inside the organization, facilitating product and process delivery, product improvement, and product performance;
  • Assigned to specific programs such as Auto Recapture, Youth Advisory Board, Car Buying 101, Referral programs, Onboarding, process communication and other ongoing programs as needed;
  • Write copy for print and digital to target audience to effectively communicate the desired outcome;
  • Coordinate all marketing deliverables to ensure timely launch of all campaigns;
  • Develop and implement all phone scripts, messaging and other audio channels to ensure a consistent member experience across all touch points;
  • Serve as third party contact for campaign deliverables;
  • Communicate to internal and external stakeholders regarding product;
  • Responsible for the review of all budgetary items related to the marketing and provide monthly report to VP of Marketing;
  • Report and maintain the budget verses actual marketing items and provide budgetary recommendations to the VP of Marketing;

  • Participate in conception and campaign  development for all assigned projects, campaigns and programs;

  • establish business rationale for prioritizing new initiatives, analyze market requirements, employee/employer benefit design, and lead project teams to successfully implement new sales initiatives;
  • Assist in analyzing membership data and use information to recommend marketing messaging, product mix, etc;
  • Formulate print and email mailing lists for segmentation lists and other membership communication;
  • Assist operations, branch operations and other departments with product related goals, and implementation of product changes;
  • Assist with establishing business rationale for prioritizing new product initiatives, analyze market requirements for new products, product design, and lead project teams to successfully implement new products;
  • Assist the Brand Manager in goal determination, and budget planning;
  • Responsible for the continual evaluation of marketing programs for assigned product lines, and for the attainment of market performance goals for assigned product lines or program initiatives;
  • Analyze competitor activity with respect to assigned product lines, and perform competition analysis for the credit union;
  • Perform research of identified product and industry trends which represent opportunities for new product development, product elimination, and product evolution;
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of community events and high-profile annual events, including the Annual Meeting with direction from the V.P. of Marketing and assistance from others;
  • Assist advisory groups in the interest of evaluating our product mix, and to develop appropriate changes to our products to better meet the needs of our members;
  • Create and write articles for effective communication of strategic goals including but not limited to:  blogs, forums, web articles, web copy, newsletters, eBlast, social networking posts and all other communications to internal and external stakeholders;
  • Assist in the marketing development of sales tools for employees;
  • Support sales team in theme creation and marketing and event  collateral development;
  • Continue to develop product knowledge and understanding of competitive advantages within market;
  • Maintain an updated branding standard manual based on Management approval to include compliance with marketing regulations;
  • Develop reports to capture analytics on all campaigns, SEO on website(s) and microsites, social networking, etc;
  • Serve as a community liaison in a limited capacity, at various charitable events and community functions, acting as an advocate for the credit union to potential members and community leaders; Any and all other duties that may be required or needed from time to time.

Desired Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, finance, business or communications or 2-5 years demonstrated experience with recent experience in a financial institution strongly preferred.

Desired Job Experience: Proficient computer skills, including proficiency with CRM software, current operating system and Microsoft suite, and the ability to learn new software quickly. Prefer someone with design background and working knowledge of Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator Suite, and project management software. Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively, lead others, apply critical thinking skills to business situations, and accomplish goals. Must be familiar with all types of inbound and outbound marketing including event planning and grassroots marketing. Must be familiar with all aspects of marketing from concept to evaluation. 

Other Qualifications: Must be capable of performing in a fast paced office environment. SUMMARY: Manage and implement public relations strategy, action plans and media relations support for MedStar. Support the goals and objectives of MedStar’s community relations and community investment strategies. 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Communications & Public Relations 

  • Develop and manage the short range and long range communications and public relations plans for MedStar according to business objectives.
  • Write and/or edit materials for external audiences, including community newsletter and designated publications.
  • Support Community Relations and Special Event initiatives.
  • Maintain and update information on the MedStar Web site.
  • Assist with recruitment activities.
  • Assist with MedStar Membership marketing activities. 

Media Relations

  • Plan, manage and deliver publicity for MedStar through media relations activities.
  • Utilize all forms of media, including TV, radio, new media and the press.
  • Write and edit press releases and articles.
  • Respond to requests for information from the media or designate another appropriate spokesperson or information source.
  • Develop and maintain good working relations with the media, including local and national newspapers, magazines, radio and television.
  • Measure media coverage. 

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations and/or journalism.
  • Minimum 3 – 4 years demonstrated experience in organizational communications to include publications, media relations and multi-media presentation experience.
