IABC Southern Region
On June 28, 2005, at the IABC International Conference in Washington, D.C., U.S. members of districts 2 and 5 marked a milestone. On July 1, the two districts were formally merged into the new Southern Region. Members from both districts celebrated with a “wedding reception” at the start of the conference. It was a fun and festive occasion to get to know new friends from around the region.
IABC Southern Region is the largest district in IABC! If you are not currently a member, we encourage you to join IABC.
The Southern Region’s primary goals are to support the leadership of the Southern Region’s chapters, provide a link to IABC International and promote professional development through the annual conference and Silver Quill Awards.
