Robin McCasland. A former president of the IABC/Fort Worth, will present an intriguing program at our March 23rd luncheon in which she will discuss external and internal communications tactics and processes that keep employees motivated, focused and most of all, happy to stay with a firm with a positive public image. Robin also will enlighten us on the best uses of social media tools by area companies to reinforce a great culture internally and create a positive reputation externally.
Robin is a Director in the Dallas Communication Practice of Buck Consultants, an ACS company, where she has worked for the past four years. Prior to becoming a consultant, Robin spent nearly 10 years in a variety of HR communication, university relations, recruiting and marketing roles with Texas Instruments and the Semiconductor Industry Association. In all, Robin has nearly 25 years of experience in employee communication, marketing, media relations and event planning. She specializes in employing creative approaches to employer branding, talent management and strategic communication planning.
A veteran of 18 years of IABC membership, Robin is an award-winning communicator who was honored as Dallas/IABC's 2000 Communicator of the Year, and has served as president of both the Dallas and Fort Worth chapters of IABC. She has won IABC Gold, Silver and Bronze Quill awards for communication excellence, and received 2007 and 2008 Communicator Awards for her work on client benefit communication projects.
Join us for the next IABC Fort Worth luncheon on Tuesday, March 23, at the City Club, 301 Commerce Street in downtown Fort Worth from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $25 for IABC members, $30 for nonmembers and $15 for students with early bird registration.
